Doylestown, PA – August 12, 2009 – Linda Wolfson has been appointed the new executive director of Vita Education Services. Fran Stengel, who had been the executive director since 1977, retired as of July 1, 2009. Linda has been with Vita for 15 years, first as Director of the Literacy Center, then Director of Programs. She will be responsible for the overall management, vision, direction, efficient operation, planning, budgeting, communications, compliance and staff development for the agency. Vita Education Services is the lead literacy agency in Bucks County and the largest provider of educational services in the Bucks County Correctional Facilities.
