Doylestown, PA – June. 18, 2010 – Today we are pleased to announce the launch of our totally redesigned website www.vitaeducation.org, a web portal devoted to Vita’s literacy and decision-making programs. This product is the result of six months of synchronized hard work done by our team in analyzing and designing the concept. As the lead literacy agency in Bucks County and the largest provider of educational services in the Bucks County Correctional Facility, our mission is to provide quality educational programs that help improve individuals’ lives and become more self-determining and self-sufficient. The goal of our new website is to engage the community in Vita’s mission and needs and to provide information about Vita’s vital services and programs.
Potential students can find information about registration and orientation for our free ESL and GED classes. Adults interested in volunteering can learn about our literacy and Personal Decision Making tutoring opportunities and check for upcoming training sessions. Videos about our literacy tutoring opportunities, the Language Experience Approach to tutoring and our Decisions for Teens program are available on our website and our YouTube Channel. The opportunities to purchase Vita’s Language Experience Approach DVD and to support Vita’s programs through donations are also available.
