Adult education programs include Basic Literacy, GED Preparation, Family Literacy, and English as a Second Language. Vita’s decision-making programs are Decisions For Living for incarcerated adults, Decisions For Action for adults in basic education settings, Decisions For Change for adults on probation or parole, and Decisions for Teens for at-risk teens. These services are provided by professional staff and trained volunteers. Vita is the lead literacy agency in Bucks County and the largest provider of educational services in the Bucks County Correctional Facilities.

Since 1918, The Philadelphia Foundation has been committed to improving the quality of life in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. It links those with financial resources to those who server societal needs. The foundation grows the more than 800 charitable funds established by its donors and distributes about $20 million annually in grants and scholarships to about 1,000 effective nonprofit organizations. Through this support, the Foundation builds healthy communities, strengthens children and families, advances economic opportunities and enhances culture and recreation.
